We've been judged to be
"Outstanding"
In the OFSTED Inspection (23rd and 24th November 2011) and our SIAS (Statutory Inspection of Anglican Schools) Inspection on 14th and 15th December 2011 we were judged to be outstanding in 55 out of 56 aspects.
“This school is highly effective so that the outcomes in all areas are outstanding. All aspects of provision were judged to be of the very highest quality and as a result students make outstanding progress.
The school has done exceptionally well in ensuring high levels of consistency across all subjects and for all groups of students. This highly impressive picture applies equally to the sixth form”.

The Minster School is the proud recipient of the new 3rd Millennium Learning Award from Naace - The ICT Association. The Award was presented to the school at a prestigious gathering of education leaders in London on 12 January 2012. The Minster School was chosen to take part in the first stage pilot for the Award because it was recognised as a school that is pushing the boundaries when it comes to new ways of learning enabled by technology.
Fifteen other schools joined The Minster School at the presentation ceremony. All the schools receiving the Award have already proved to the world that they have a solid understanding of how to harness technology for learning - they all have the ICT Mark. Significant contributions for this award were made by teachers from Enlgish, Modern Foreign Languages, Mathematics and ICT.
