Minster School is chosen to become a National Teaching School

The Minster School has been selected for an important new role aimed at further raising standards in schools in the County and in Lincolnshire.
Young Enterprise is the United Kingdom’s largest business and enterprise education charity. Every year they help 225,000 young people learn about business and the world of work in the classroom under the guidance of a network of 5,000 volunteers from 3,500 companies.
This year a group of sixth form students have set up their own business - Vici Homeware.
They are a group of young entrepreneurs that have had the amazing opportunity to start and run a real-life business under the Young Enterprise scheme. Their product is high quality wine and champagne glasses with a modern, unique twist. They have designed the glasses with blackboard paint bases, which enable the customer to write on them with chalk. They are a great alternative to the classic name place settings at dinner parties, and they also supply for weddings and other big occasions. Vici Homeware is already supplying a wedding taking place in the summer.
Please visit their website and have a look how the Young Enterprise scheme is giving our sixth form students the confidence to develop their skills in business acumen.
