Welcome to eMinster

EMinster is designed to enable you to access a range of facilities. These include your school Email, your school files and most importantly the Learning Resources that teachers use and share with you in the classrooom.

Our vision for ICT @ Minster School states that our aim is to:

“...enable all teachers and learners to appreciate, increasingly understand and make most effective use, of the opportunities that ICT creates in their school lives. To bring about confidence, maintain enthusiasm and provide support for all users in order for ICT to be truly used to extend and enhance teaching and learning at The Minster School”

Note: When sending emails the following aspects are checked by the email filtering system adminstered by Nottinghamshire Local Authority.

• The title of the email or title of documents attache to the email  - this may contain innapropriate words or combination of words
• The size of email attachments may be too large - this can occur when images are attached to emails or form part of the content of a doocument. Keep email attachments under 10MB file sizes.

We currently use Microsoft Office 2010 at The Minster School. Students can save their files in a version compatible with older versions of Microsoft Office. 

The Minster School is well regarded both regionally and nationally for the use both staff and students at the school make with the hardware and software facilities we have on offer. The school is the proud winners of Becta Excellence in ICT Awards - Best Whole School East Midlands for 2010.

In June 2011 the school was redesignated with the ICT Mark Award and will hold this for a further 3 more years.
