Reading support for targeted students is offered through LEXIA, which is a computerized, structured reading programme. Students work with headphones at their own pace in 15-20 minute sessions. Spelling skills are integrated in the programme. For further information please see www.lexiauk.co.uk.

Sessions are offered during tutor times twice a week or can be accessed at home through a computer or tablet by installing the LEXIA software. In order to use the program, the device must have access to the internet. For more information please contact Mrs Woodhouse ([email protected]).

LEXIA can be used with an iPad or Android tablet device. It will not work on smart mobile phones due to the size of screen.

LEXIA Information Evening

We hold a LEXIA Evening in March each year to inform parents and carers about the programme. Invitations to individual students and their parents/carers will be issued in the Spring term.
