Why train with us?

An introduction to Farmilo Primary School and Nursery

Farmilo Primary school currently have 255 pupils on roll aged 3 to 11.  We are a high achieving school with the majority of pupils achieving Age related expectations in Reading, Writing, Maths and GPS at the end of Key Stage 2; in addition, children make good progress in all areas of the curriculum through high quality teaching.

The area of Pleasley on the outskirts of Mansfield, within which the school sits is currently under major development with new houses being built. Numbers continue to rise due to the good reputation of the school with many children travelling from out of the catchment area.

Our most recent Ofsted in September 2017 graded the school as still being a Good school. This is an achievement that we are all very proud of and will continue to strive forward and build on this further.

We are recognised within the Local Authority for our Partnership work and have supported some schools with developing teaching across the year groups including the Foundation Stage. We also support other schools with Leadership & Management strategies to improve attainment. We have recently joined a collaboration with 3 other local primary schools where we intend to build on the quality of teaching and learning by sharing good practise.
