    ...an excellent professional development opportunity...

Apply to become an LLE, SLE or MLE

The Minster Teaching School Alliance (MTSA) are looking to designate colleagues from across Alliance schools as:

Local Leader of Education (LLE)

The Minster Teaching School Alliance is now able to designate its own Local Leaders of Education (LLEs), a role that was previously overseen by the NCTL. These designations are made only at Head Teacher level and recognise the important work that Head Teachers do in supporting school improvement beyond their own school. We are keen to designate our own LLEs to ensure that our Alliance has the capacity to support school improvement and offer further professional development to head teachers of Alliance member schools.

Please contact Trish O’Malley [email protected] for further information.

Specialist Leader of Education (SLE)

MTSA Leader of Education (MLE)

Apply to become an MLE

These roles will focus on improving outcomes for students through a range of activities including deployment to other schools, sharing best practice, leading Professional Learning sessions and groups, engaging in classroom-based research and working as a group to promote Professional Learning across the Alliance.

Please note that applications for the role of both SLE and MLE require a supporting statement from the applicant’s Head Teacher.

The deadline for applications is Friday 3rd November, and the designation process will take place in the weeks beginning 6th and 13th November.
