Two further cases confirmed.

I am sorry to say that today (8th October 2020) we have had two further cases of Covid-19 confirmed in our school community. This time it is a year 11 student and a member of staff. Students who have been identified as close contacts have been informed and will need to self-isolate for 14 days from the time of last contact.

We realise that for some of you this will cause anxiety. We continue to monitor our processes and insist upon high standards of hand sanitising, wiping of work areas, face coverings and social distancing.

As you would have seen on the news there is currently a spike in cases both within Nottingham City and Nottinghamshire. It still seems that community transmission is the greatest factor in the spread of the virus so I would urge you to heed the local advice regarding social distancing and the mixing of households.

Many thanks for your continued support and understanding.
