Year 10 Run To Beat Cancer

Year 10 all ran 5km to raise funds for a range of cancer charities and in support of their friends.  7 students in the year have lost a parent to cancer and the event began with several moving speeches sharing their stories, followed by a vibrant and supportive event to celebrate life.

The group raised £1500 to be shared between the Teenage Cancer Trust, Macmillian Cancer Support and Marie Curie.  They looked fantastic in a wide range of vibrant outfits and many staff joined them in their efforts.  A fine example of how Minster School students embody our ethos of Succeeding Together with Resilience, Kindness and Service to others.
