Students and staff enjoyed an exciting visit to Madrid, during which they experienced the culture of Spain and had the opportunity to put their Spanish to the test.
45 of our Y9 students were accompanied by a team of staff and visited Madrid for their Spanish cultural residential in October. The group enjoyed warm weather and followed a jam-packed itinerary, visiting Palacio Real, Retiro Park and the monastery in Toledo among other highlights. Students enjoyed a range of Spanish cuisine while on the visit, eating tapas in the evening and visiting El Mercado de Charmartin to sample the local delicacies. The highlight of the visit was the flamenco show on the final night where students enjoyed another meal together before departing for the UK in the morning. We would like to thank all students and staff for making the visit so enjoyable – Gracias!
