On the 13th February year 10 Historians will be heading across the channel to the battlefields of World War One as part of their GCSE studies on the impact of the war on medicine.

This will be a fantastic opportunity to study the war and immerse themselves in History. Some sites we will be visiting include: Thiepval Memorial, Menin Gate, Newfoundland Park, Vimy Ridge, Lochagner Crater, Tyne Cot cemetery and many more. The students will be spending two nights away before returning on the evening of the 15th ready for a well-earned half term break.
