Our curriculum offers a wide range of subjects and, where options are available, as much free choice to suit the preferences of learners. Years 7 to 9 follow a common curriculum within the context and requirement of the National Curriculum. Classes are generally taught in mixed ability teaching groups averaging 30 students, although this varies in some subjects as key stage 3 progresses. In Years 10 and 11 students complete GCSE courses. As a Church of England school RE is an important part of the curriculum, including GCSE RE for all students in year 11.
Information about the curriculum in the Sixth Form and in the Junior School can be found in those areas of the website.
