Here at The Minster School we are privileged to have a fantastic team of instrumental teaching staff who support the work of our department. As a school we appoint a diverse mix of instrumental staff privately, and through the Nottinghamshire Instrumental and Music Teaching Service. These experienced and highly qualified teaching staff both support and encourage our students through weekly, twenty minute (or in certain circumstances thirty minute) instrumental lessons within the Music Department.
Range of lessons offered
With more than 70 peripatetic music lessons taking place each week, there is very likely to be something on offer for all musically interested students. Current opportunities include lessons in the following instruments:
- Electric Guitar
Fees & Applications
The school guarantees a minimum of 10 lessons a term (£140 a term for individual and £73 a term for shared) with the opportunity for more lessons to be received at no additional cost. In the event of long term teacher absence, if your son/daughter does not receive ten lessons a term any shortfall will be refunded at the end of the academic year.
