Every student is supported to succeed at The Minster Junior School.  Our curriculum is designed to make sure all pupils make excellent progress towards the expected standards in reading, writing and maths.  The curriculum is carefully mapped out to ensure junior school pupils receive the full curriculum experience, including specialist provision in many subjects provided by teachers from the main school.  Please click below to see our two-year curriculum overview.  Each class in the Junior School has a two-year cycle to ensure full curriculum coverage and to prevent repetition of themes and topics in certain subjects such as History, Geography and RE.

The school has a track record of success with more than 80% of pupils achieving the required national standards at the end of junior school in each of the last three years. Please click here to find out more.
