Our Teaching School alliance is committed to developing future leaders that are highly effective in what they do. There are a number of opportunities to provide professional development for leaders.

National Professional Qualification for Senior Leadership (fully-funded*)

The National Professional Qualification for Senior Leadership (NPQSL) is a qualification that provides national recognition of your leadership development and professional achievement and will give you the opportunity to develop the skills, knowledge and confidence you need to be a highly effective senior leader.  You can control the pace and focus of your study by completing the work in a timeframe that suits you, with the freedom to specialise and develop your own professional areas of interest.

* Fully-funded places are available for all teachers and leaders as long as they meet the eligibility criteria.  The requirement is for your school to be located in a ‘category 5 or 6 area’ - download a copy of our flyer for further information.

Please note that funding is finite and will be allocated by the DfE on a first come, first served basis so it will be beneficial to apply early.
