Our Teacher Training Courses

There are two ways that you can apply to train with us.  Applying to either of the options below will lead you to study on a PGCE course with Nottingham Trent University.  Individuals can apply for up to three courses within the DfE’s ‘Apply for Teacher Training’ system - we encourage you to make multiple applications: each course that you apply for will have a separate assessment and interview.

GENERAL PLACES

Our general places offer the greatest range of schools – you will be assessed for entry on to the course, and following a successful interview at one of our Assessment Centres, we will then place you in one of our experienced partner schools, based upon your location and context, where you will work towards your PGCE qualification in partnership with Nottingham Trent University. 

SCHOOL-SPECIFIC PLACES

If you prefer to train in a specific school, we offer a number of options. You will be assessed for entry on to the course, and then following a successful interview at your chosen school, we will confirm your place on the PGCE qualification in partnership with Nottingham Trent University. 

Our provider code is 1EC. 

You can find and apply for any of our courses by going to the DfE’s Find Postgraduate Teacher Training service, and then entering our provider code in the relevant box.  A list of our courses can be found in our 'Vacancies' section.   Don't forget, you can apply for one, or multiple courses with us.  For each course that you apply for, you will have a separate assessment and interview.
